A new organization for technology evangelists has just been formed in Silicon Valley. (Secular evangelism has arrived!) The organization’s first conference is coming up on December 4th. Here is the agenda.
Network Meeting Center
5201 Great America Parkway
Santa Clara, CA 95054
408-562-6111
12/4/2006, 11:30 am – 6:00 pm
I hope to see you there!
Ugh, that web site is terrible. It doesn’t even list the cost of the conference.
Clicking “register” to me to a generic SDForum page, also without pricing information.
Hi Paul,

(Unfortunately) I completely agree. I’m sorry, most of us are developers turned evangelists without any real web-design experience. :| I’m so aesthetically challenged, its not even funny. We are working on making it better, however.

The SDForum page you’re referring to has the pricing information listed all the way at the bottom. (http://www.sdforum.org/SDForum/Templates/CalendarEvent.aspx?CID=2041)
But thanks for the feedback, I’ll update our events page right away with the pricing info.
Thanks,
ai

So, clearly, some of us need to go to GUI school :) The GNoTE website was something we slapped together
This event (and the evangelists’ network) only serves to underscore one of the many differences that make the Valley stand out heads and shoulders above others trying to emulate in their Glen, Fen etc. More tut-tutting from this side of the Atlantic pond..
